Crane rail

Crane rail is a specialty rail designed for carrying heavy loads and is used in a wide variety of applications. They are not the same as railway track rails. Unlike railway track rails, the base width of crane rails is always equal to the height of the rail. Moreover, heavier crane rails have a much thicker web than normal track rails. These Crane Rails mainly serve as tracks for high capacity lifting cranes including gantry cranes and overhead crane runways.
