Hot rolled coil

“Hot rolling” refers to processing done with heat. Hot rolling is a mill process where the steel gets rolled above its re-crystallization temperature. Exposure to such high temperatures makes it easier to shape and form the steel, resulting in easier products to work with. For sheet metal, rolled steel is spun into coils and left to cool. Steel shrinks slightly as it cools off, thus giving less control on the size and shape of the finished product. Hot rolled steel is less suitable for precision applications but ideal where dimensional tolerances and surface finish are not key concerns. Hot Rolled Coils are developed to bridge the gap between affordable and high-quality steel products.

VKICL offers a range of Hot Rolled Coils including HSLA, Corten Steel, Structural, Commercial, and Pressure grades. We supply HR Coils of Domestic and Imported Make manufactured by the finest mills around the globe. They comply with various Indian and International Standards to meet different segment requirements. We also offer Cut-to-Length Sheets service to our customers.
